Sometimes it’s hard to calm down after a stressful day. But being in a constant state of stress — and always being on “GO”, can elevate cortisol levels which can affect one’s health.

If your cortisol levels stay up it can cause increased blood pressure (heart disease), absorption issues, (osteoporosis), and weight gain, (type 2 diabetes).

But elevated cortisol levels can also lead to increased inflammation all over the body. It can affect the brain, muscles, and organs of the body.
