Going to the gym is great. BUT- if it doesn’t work out on some days ……all is not lost! There’s lots of things we can do at home to stay fit!
Good health habits do not have to chain you down. As a health and fitness professional, I have found that I have the freedom to live my life to the fullest everyday–while fitting in great nutrition and short workouts. Did you know that doing 3 short 10 minute workouts a day can help you lose more weight than one 30 minute workout?

Ok….that’s not so hard. Ten minutes is much less than your favorite TV program.
In this blog, I am promoting home exercise tips that you can weave into your daily life. What credentials do I have to give you this information? I have a degree in Health and P.E. ( James Madison University). I taught elementary health and P.E for 33 years. (Loved it! Best job on the planet!) I am also a certified group fitness and Zumba instructor. My certification is with The Athletics and Fitness Association of America. (AFAA) I have been teaching fitness classes for 39 years. I love doing this! It is a privlege to inspire others be healthier and happier!
Remember to check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. You should always be careful when doing physical activities. We are all made differently and have different limitations.
