Glute bridges
Category:Feel like you could use some support in your lower back?
Who knew that strong glutes are part of the answer to that question…so, yes…you need to fire those glutes and do those back bridges!
Your glutes are your butt muscles…the BIGGEST muscles in your body.
Tight or weak glutes can affect the support your back gets, so performing regular bridges is essential. The muscles in the low back are also challenged during this exercise, so bridges will help them grow stronger too!
Let’s start with the basics:
- Lie on your back – knees bent…
- Your feet in a comfortable position
- The head, neck, and shoulders are on the floor
- Arms extended by your side.
- Gently lift the hips, but not too high. Keep your head, neck, and shoulders on the floor
- If you can’t feel the tension in your glutes, you may need to walk your feet in a bit closer.
