Woah!…….Are you ready to catch yourself? (Just in case you are off balance?)

Balance is a beautiful thing………that is, while it’s working for you.

But, life happens. We may need to lean far to the side to reach something, or, heaven forbid, something suddenly gets in the way while we are walking! A strong core is intregal when we need to react quickly.

The video in this post shows how you can strengthen your core and cultivate good balancing skills at home. (or in your yard in the fresh air–complete with chirping creatures.)

Gently follow these six points when performing this balancing exercise:

  1. Stand tall-lift chest
  2. Press shoulder blades down
  3. Navel to spine
  4. Lengthen Spine -head up (wear your crown)
  5. When moving forward, keep head, neck, and trunk moving as a unit
  6. BREATH!
